Built south of the city, close to the fast growing areas of “new Dubai”, DWC lies at the heart of an entire airport city. The airport opened on June 27, 2010 for cargo operations followed by passenger flights in October 2013.

Once completed, this airport will be the world’s largest global gateway with capacity for more than 160 million passengers per year. It will also serve as a multi-modal logistics hub for 12 million tonnes of freight.

Menara International Airport, Marrakech, Morocco

The only airport in Marrakech is the Menara International Airport. Although it is very small and simple (eg no boarding jetways), it is one of the most beautiful airports in the world due to its façade created during a recent expansion.

Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Since 2005, it has been rated the best airport worldwide by Airports Council International every year.

Munich International Airport

Munich Airport is the second busiest airport in Germany and the secondary hub for Lufthansa German Airlines. With over 150 retail stores and some 50 places where you can eat and drink, it’s like a city centre, offering travelers and visitors plenty to see and do. Munich was voted the Best Airport in Europe, Best Airport in Central Europe, and Best Airport: 40-50 million passengers in 2019.

Denver International Airport, Colorado, USA

This beautiful airport is quite curious. There are a number of theories that have cropped up about this airport over the years, resulting in the so called “Denver Airport Conspiracy”. Throughout the building there are several unusual or ominous designs, including a few that are said to be linked to Nazism. The runways form a swastika-like shape, and there is a picture in the main hall that depicts a Nazi soldier attacking the dove of peace. Another interesting piece is the granite monument, which is said to contain a “time capsule” that can only be opened in 2094.

Tokyo Narita Airport is an international airport serving the Greater Tokyo Area of Japan. Narita serves as the international hub for Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways.
